Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel
Andrew Reiss, an attorney and CPA, is a Partner and serves as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for DBI Staffing. Prior to joining DBI, Andrew was a litigator at one of the largest international law firms and before that he worked at a Big 4 accounting firm. Drawing on his legal and accounting expertise, Andrew works closely with a wide range of law, accounting and financial firms and candidates working in these industries. Andrew is the point of contact for DBI’s clients on financial analyses and reporting related to projects and consultants, time management and invoicing issues.
Andrew received his Juris Doctor, with distinction, from Hofstra University School of Law in 1998, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.
Andrew currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at his alma mater and regularly mentors students on career issues. He also taught accounting courses at the college level and lectured at professional bar organizations. Andrew is a member of numerous bar and accounting associations.
President and Managing Partner
David Brock is the President and a Managing Partner of DBI Staffing. Formerly, David spent seven years as a Managing Partner at Information Systems Resources. A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Marketing and a J.D. from Hofstra Law School, David has leveraged his Business Development, Sales and Technology background for the last 20 years to build a network of business contacts and technology professionals and is recognized as an industry leader in the IT recruitment area.
Beginning as a start-up organization, David and his team have grown DBI into a distinguished Recruitment and Consulting Organization comprised of approximately 15 recruiters who place candidates on both a permanent and consulting basis.
David is a member of multiple professional organizations and networking groups in New York while maintaining preferred business relationships with a large number of Fortune 500 companies. A Long Island native but NYC resident for the last 20 years, David is an avid golfer and big New York Sports fan.
Senior Management Consultant
Shana Heron is a Senior Management Consultant working with DBI Staffing. Shana quickly established herself in the technology consulting industry and has spent the last 15 years supporting major initiatives for clients throughout the NY, NJ, and CT area. Consulting with DBI since 2005, Shana has been an integral part of DBI’s growth and recognition as a premier staffing organization. Prior to this role, Shana held Executive Management Positions at other recruitment firms, including DeNovo Legal, Forrest Solutions and Tiger Information Systems.
Guided by a tireless work ethic and desire to provide first rate services to her clients, Shana developed strong, long standing relationships across a wide array of industries, including legal, financial and insurance.
HR Hiring and Recruitment
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Joel is an experienced IT recruiter with an impressive background. Previously representing various Fortune 500 companies, he was involved with multiple aspects of the HR hiring and recruitment process.
In his spare time, Joel enjoys traveling the world and spending time homebrewing beer.
Dmitriy comes from the medical industry where he supported various hardware, software and IT infrastructure. Joining DBI Staffing in 2018, he now dedicates his career into recruiting candidates across various industries and clients.
Originally from Brooklyn, Dmitriy now lives out in Staten Island where he has spent for nearly half his life. He is passionate about all things tech and spends the majority of his day online.
Ryan comes from a background working directly at Apple, providing users with professional customer service and high technical proficiency. Moving over to DBI Staffing, he now uses those skills to recruit well-qualified candidates for various clients across the United States. In the past, Ryan has also worked for the Walt Disney Company, partaking in the Disney College Program for a semester.
During his time at Baruch College, Ryan was a part of the varsity swimming team. Even now he continues to practice and attend various swimming meets.
