Large, growing healthcare provider is looking for a .NET Developer to work in their main office.

Reporting to the Senior Director, the .Net Developer will play a central role in the enhancement and development of applications that acquire, analyze, and dynamically present financial, clinical, and other relevant performance data. Candidates must have superior logic and computer skills, including a proficiency in application programming and database technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the software development life cycle experience, including gathering requirements, analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications.

Healthcare not a must but would be preferred.  In lieu of healthcare, professional services / portal/ membership experience will be adequate.

  • Job Requirements

    • Develop and maintain new functionality and logic for existing C# ASP.NET applications.
    • Develop stored procedures, functions, indexes, and triggers to be utilized with ADO.NET.
    • Ensure that appropriate security is incorporated throughout the software development life cycle.
    • Establish client and server validation for proper input, input limits, required fields, and custom defined logic.
    • Test additions and changes for functionality, correctness, and security.
    • Establish processes to ensure the smooth release of any new features.
    • Ability to incorporate third party libraries (Highcharts, DotNetZip, Winnovative PDF/Excel ).
    • Use Team Foundation Server for source control and VS2012 for IDE.
    • Assist the Senior Director with additional projects and work automating data and incorporating logical intelligence. 


    Skills & Experience:


    • 3+ years’ of web/database development experience with the full software development life cycle.
    • Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, HTML, CSS, client-side programming with JavaScript or jQuery, AJAX, T-SQL and SQL Server.
    • Programming experience including .NET C#, webforms (asp.net 2.0-4.5) and Winforms, membership and roles, error handling, and creation of dynamic webpages. and encryption highly desirable b/c dealing with HIPAA documents
    • Strong testing and debugging skills.
    • Excellent communication and good time management skills.
    • Passionate about logic, programming, research, and learning new concepts.
    • Understanding of HIPAA privacy and security; HIPAA’s impact on programming, transport and storage of data.
