About DBI Staffing
David Brock is the President and a Managing Partner of DBI Staffing. Formerly, David spent seven years as a Managing Partner at Information Systems Resources. A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Marketing and a J.D. from Hofstra Law School, David has leveraged his Business Development, Sales and Technology background for the last 20 years to build a network of business contacts and technology professionals and is recognized as an industry leader in the IT recruitment area.
Beginning as a start-up organization, David and his team have grown DBI into a distinguished Recruitment and Consulting Organization comprised of approximately 15 recruiters who place candidates on both a permanent and consulting basis.
David is a member of multiple professional organizations and networking groups in New York while maintaining preferred business relationships with a large number of Fortune 500 companies. A Long Island native but NYC resident for the last 20 years, David is an avid golfer and big New York Sports fan.
Andrew Feldman is a Senior Recruiter for DBI Staffing. He graduated from University of Buffalo, with a degree in Communications.
Prior to DBI, Andrew spent two years working in executive recruiting, specializing in Application Development opportunities within the financial services sector. He then segued in to the SAP industry of staffing, where he became the number one recruiter in North America for the firm. There he primarily focused on staffing in supply chain management for Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
His greatest enjoyment when it comes to recruiting is networking, getting to know new people and speaking to different professionals within a wide variety of industries. You never know what opportunity could be on the next phone call.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys being physically active, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and getting as many rounds of golf in as possible in NY.
Aoife O’Donovan is a Recruiter at DBI Staffing. Aoife joined DBI in October 2014 after moving here from Ireland. She was given the opportunity to work for a year in the US after receiving an Msc in Human Resource Management from the University of Limerick in Ireland.
Her desire to learn and gain valuable experience led her to the streets of New York and she is enjoying every bit of the work here at DBI.
In her spare time she likes to explore the city that she still gets lost in with her friends. She currently resides in Brooklyn.
Connor Thumser is the Recruiting Intern at DBI Staffing. Connor joined DBI in March 2015 after looking to gain insight into the world of IT Recruiting. Connor is currently on track to graduate from Stony Brook University this May with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with plans of attending graduate school this Fall. When asked how the aspects of IT recruiting compare to the world of Finance Connor said “I love it. What I enjoy most is the fast paced environment. Personally, being thrown into something with no prior knowledge is how I learn best. There is never a boring day here.”
For the past four years Connor has been volunteering every weekend for an Animal Rescue organization that pulls animals out of high kill shelters in the southern United States. In addition, Connor has made two week-long trips to the organizations animal sanctuary in South Carolina.
Max Domnitz is the Recruiting Team Lead at DBI Staffing. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Max pursued an undergraduate degree in Communications at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then moved to New York City where he played a key role in some of the city’s finer restaurants while looking for long term career options.
In 2006, Max met David Brock while playing in a competitive basketball league. The two quickly developed a friendship and Max soon joined the DBI family as a recruiter. Max was promoted to the DBI Recruitment Team Lead, sourcing and successfully placing IT professionals. He also serves as a mentor and advisor for the recruitment team.
Todd Grossman a Senior Recruiter at DBI Staffing. Todd joined DBI in 2004 and has more than 10 years of experience in the Information Technology field. Prior to joining DBI, Todd worked in the real estate and telecommunications fields. His expertise in the IT field extends to software applications as well as infrastructure and engineering. In addition to actively developing new business relationships, Todd manages a number of high level accounts in which he serves as DBI’s primary liaison.
Todd’s commitment to providing first-rate services and attention to his clients has made him a trusted advisor to our clients and the “go-to” person when challenging and time sensitive staffing issues arise. Todd graduated from the University of Hartford in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
Keith Meskill is a Senior Recruiter at DBI Staffing. Keith joined DBI Staffing in November of 2011 and immediately fell in love with recruiting. Keith enjoys meeting people and helping them land the perfect position. “I like getting to know my candidates on a more personal level to understand what motivates them, discuss their career paths to date and figure out what the next steps may be.” While Keith deals with many people on a day to day basis he strives to be as accessible as possible as does everyone at DBI.
Born and raised on Long Island, Keith bring an intimate knowledge of the area and hopes to leverage that knowledge to remedy the growing demand for talented professionals in Information Technology. “I hope to cultivate new relationships everyday with both candidates and clients alike to continue and build on DBI Staffing’s already extensive and effective network.”
Keith’s goal is to make matches that make sense. “I want to place the candidate in a position that meets their needs, providing a new challenging career where they can leverage their past experience but also continue to expand on it, bringing added value to themselves and the companies they work for.” The top three things Keith looks for in a candidate is positive attitude, hard work ethic, and a strong willingness or ability to learn.
On the weekends, Keith is an avid golfer. Being from Long island he is just a stone’s throw away from a few different courses. “I like to do anything outside, hiking, fishing, kayaking and bringing my German Shepherd down to the beach.”
Andrew Reiss, an attorney and CPA, is a Partner and serves as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for DBI Staffing. Prior to joining DBI, Andrew was a litigator at one of the largest international law firms and before that he worked at a Big 4 accounting firm. Drawing on his legal and accounting expertise, Andrew works closely with a wide range of law, accounting and financial firms and candidates working in these industries. Andrew is the point of contact for DBI’s clients on financial analyses and reporting related to projects and consultants, time management and invoicing issues.
Andrew received his Juris Doctor, with distinction, from Hofstra University School of Law in 1998, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.
Andrew currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at his alma mater and regularly mentors students on career issues. He also taught accounting courses at the college level and lectured at professional bar organizations. Andrew is a member of numerous bar and accounting associations.
Shana Heron is a Managing Partner of DBI Staffing. Shana quickly established herself in the technology consulting industry and has spent the last 15 years supporting major initiatives for clients throughout the NJ, NJ, and CT area. She joined DBI in 2005 and has been an integral part of DBI’s growth and recognition as a premier staffing organization. Prior to this role, Shana held Executive Management Positions at other recruitment firms, including DeNovo Legal, Forrest Solutions and Tiger Information Systems.
Guided by a tireless work ethic and desire to provide first rate services to her clients, Shana developed strong, long standing relationships across a wide array of industries, including legal, financial and insurance.
